QUEST

QUEST, KQED's science, environment and nature series, begins its second season of television episodes on April 1 at 7:30pm on KQED 9 with new adventures and investigations into the innovative science happening in Northern California. Launched in 2007, QUEST is KQED's largest multimedia project ever. Going beyond its weekly HD TV broadcast, QUEST also features weekly radio reports, and a dynamic website with a blog written by local scientists, science hikes, free educator resources and more. Through its partners, QUEST also hopes to bring audiences closer to the Bay Area's world-class science centers, museums, and parks. Explore more at kqed.org/quest and also sign up for QUEST's weekly e-newsletter.

Bay Area Open Space Council

The Bay Area Open Space Council is a coalition of over 55 public agencies and non-profit land conservation organizations that are responsible for acquiring, restoring and stewarding valuable park, habitat, and agricultural lands in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area. As a partnership of those most involved in protecting and managing the Bay Area's parks and open spaces, the Council's unique role is to find common ground and strengthen individual and collective efforts both with our traditional partners and with new constituencies. The Council operates by sharing information, researching issues of common concern, developing coordinated strategies, and speaking with a unified voice about our shared interests.
